Stable Homes for Oregon Families Lobby Day, March 2!


The Stable Homes for Oregon Families is holding a lobby day on March 2 to call upon legislators to pass tenant protections by turning out renters from around the state for meetings with their legislators. The coalition will provide lobby training, organize individual legislator visits, and prepare renters to testify before a legislative committee hearing.

Oregon renters are saying enough is enough. Our Legislature needs to act to protect our communities now. The entire state of Oregon needs just cause because no-cause evictions are ripping our communities apart. Oregon needs to lift the ban on rent stabliization because too many Oregonians have to make devastating choices between rent and other basic life necessities, threatening them with homelessness.
